Sucks to be You
I don’t want to say my daughter is not smart, so i’ll let you decide…15 tried to skip class today. I work there. Everyday. Why in the world would she think that she’d get away with that?
Tracked her down after the teacher called me to see where she was. Pulled her aside and explained that because her mother works at school does not mean she will be able to get away with things that other kids cannot get away with. In fact, it will actually be tougher for her. Also mentioned that “not only will you have to see me before you see the principal, you will have to see me AGAIN when you get home.”
Think she got the point, so we’ll leave it at that. No principals this time, but mainly because both were out today.
