While poking around through the other people’s crap, I spied these salt & pepper shakers out of the corner of my eye. Interest peaked, i picked one up. Sucker was heavy! So I was thinking they might be silver. Then, barely readable on the bottom was the word Oneida. Eh, so they’re stainless.  Guy gave them to me for 50 cents.  Got ‘em home started polishing one, and I saw more markings … Oneida Community, Henley Pattern.  Turns out they are vintage 1930 weighted silver-plate.  Worth anywhere from $10 to $80 depending on the condition.  These are in damn fine condition.  Yay for yard sales!

Related: If I’m gonna keep picking up silver like this, I’m gonna have to invest in a dremel with a buffing attachment. My hand is killing me.
